The iGO team has decided to reopen all the forum sections (except Tutorials) for all members to post in.

This should be a little less confusing for new members and easier for all, when posts can be made in the relevant thread.

Here the simplest solution to unlock Garmin maps.

Protected toolkit_2254_x86 or Garmin Garmin file toolkit_2254_x64

Just open the system that matches your application.
Drag the locked map into the blank window.
Wait a few seconds to gather information.
It will report if locked.
In that case click on "Unlock File"

To makes things a bit easier I created an installer that includes the following Navcore versions:
9.500 - The Rider Navcore with the new Rider5 skin.
9.510 - The current NC for all current TT models.
9.701 - The current Truck NC.
Although the download is a bit bigger than usual for a Navcore, the installer allows you to have all current Navcores at hand for easy installation and testing.
