Firmware update

Hi, I'm struggling to get my Nuvi 42 to recognise my MicroSD with unlocked maps on it.

I've tried it with the img file in the /Map folder and also the /Garmin folder.

My img file is called gmapsupp.img, but I've also renamed it to uk_gmapsupp.img in case it conflicted with the existing image file on the device.

I can copy the unlocked maps onto the device in the /Map folder and this works fine, ...

Hi everyone, I have a Garmin Nüvi 42LM whose internal memory was deleted. I was able to recover most things through Garmin Express, but not the help files,text languages and keyboards (currently stuck with "American English" and an ABCDE keyboard layout). Could someone (ideally someone that has a Nüvi 42LM) upload and share their files?

Current BMW Navigator VI has software version 5.8. From online sources, I see new BMW Navigator VI ship with software version 10. Can someone provide software files for this?

Local Garmin distributor does not provide support for out of warranty devices.

Hi, I own a Garmin Nuvi 2599 LMT-D.
At startup I get the following error message:
SYSTEM SOFTWARE IS MISSING.
Who can help me to make this work back
to get? Thank you

My 2599 is stuck in a boot loop. My understanding is that garmincure3 and the appropriate firmware may be able to fix it. The problem I am running in to is that you cannot download firmware gcd files from Garmin anymore, and I am having trouble locating a firmware file for my 2599.
