I'm new and find it very confusing to install new maps with all these terms and versions (navcore, meta, 7x,8x,9x etcetera). My brother gave me a tomtom one with west-europe and said he wanted Turkey maps too. I'm scared to make mistakes/brick the device since the device isn't mine and he wants it back very soon.

Just to start i am new here and might just be over looking something simple.
Old factory software in my unit the signpost always came up when you got close to a exit on the highway.
The new ver. i have selected for this to happen but it doesnt seem to put up on top of screen like it did before.
I am using US maps from 2012 Q4

I have a TomTom One IQ which I love due to its size and usefulness. I use this site for downloads for my IGo in Car Satnav.

I am not sure where I go to download .tlv maps for my TomTom One IQ.

Any link would be useful. I can't see the folders in my TomTom but can seem to see the version of the software, if that is relevant.

Something strange happening to my setup.


Situation:

Primo 2.0 v9.6.5.245577 and Primo 2.4 v9.6.13.267029 on a SD card.
Content folder shared, maps TT/TA 2012.12 Europe (complete !!)
Licenses are identical
using diMKA skin on both

Issue :

Primo 2.0 : hnr files are indicated red, Europe map set is not complete
Primo 2.4 : has no problems with the hnr files, Europe maps all present
