I heard about some issues with installing new maps on Tomtom Via 120/140 navigation devices.
There is Linux partition type of system.
How about format this partition in FAT and try to copy there some navcore from other device?
I assume that hardware in Via devices must be the same like in other devices but only file system is different.
What do you think about that?

So I have the files linked in the following topic and followed the instructions exactly, but my GPS gives me an out of memory error asking for 1.7gb and 0 cache. I have tried various max men/reserve men/cache settings that made no difference. There are no files inside of building/dem/poi/skin and only one language/voice.

After reading the forum and looking for a similar problem I couldn't find a good solution.
Let me explain:
I have a Mio Moov S505 With Igo primo (I guess) (version 1.1 (9.2.1.178658))
I have installed a special unlock to enable the TMC: igo Primo TMC for Mio Spirit 685 683 Unlock
With This pre-set unlock I am able to receive TMC on my Mio Moov S505.

ive looked at the map chart update for best european maps, the 1 i think is the most update and best to install is western europe 910-4892, however the tech guys on here sometimes disagree and actually say go back to 905 set, especially when iwas install the french map.
at present i have
france 905-4754

I have a go 700; I have download this map but when try activate (fastactivat) give me this error:
incomplecte map Europe_South-784.meta => .dct error.
Is this meta file wrong or the map it's incomplectete?

i was wondering if anyone knows of a map editor for the igo maps (fbl files i think).i have downloaded gps mapedit but it doesnt support this file type.

please can anyone help noob here I cant seem to be able to download any maps.
I find the map I need click on the link and get taken to a new page I can see the rar file but
when I click on the arrow I get a prompt shell out cash to download the file.
I've tried several times but no luck what am I doing wrong
