I've been given the task on changing the software on the brother in law's satnav as the route66 software is utter gash lol!

I've downloaded the Primo files and put them on an SD card. Currently the maps run from the internal memory of the device. How do I get it to recognise the files on the SD card?

hi guys..thought id try the tomtom on my android htc one x, seems to be working, picks up the sats, i can see the car icon moving as i drive around, but im getting no voice directions ?...using the standard voices in there tim, jane etc..any ideas ta.....voices work fine in demo mode, ie plan a route from A TO B..

I can confirm that the China 7" GPS units that are sold on ebay, do in fact work come with iGO 8.3.2. Dated Mar. 10, 2009. The maps are also well outdated, from 2009....
The 7" unit runs WinCE 6.0 and has a few extra things loaded.. such as games, a FM transmitter, able to play MP3s and GIF/JPEGs...

I couldn't STAND the old software that was on it, so.... I updated..

Hi all I would like to share my thanks with you all. I purchased a blank new satnav, with the help of the forum and in particular a forum moderator. I have aquired software, operating systems, and maps of the U.K Spain and France all for the princely sum of nought, zip, zilch, nothing.
