Just got a XXL 540S and my Win7 PC is not detecting it. Got it stuck in a USB port and when turning it on or unplugging it whilst on, I don't get the normal ding dong and also got no task bar indication.

install the truck map on the sdcard.
extract the navcore over the top of it. check the list of files on the sd card, youll see they match the ones in the rar file. just go straight over them

I read where one guy said he used the map tool and picked what what maps he wanted with MapSource then unlocked what he had selected and loaded it to his 855. Have purchased the Head unit Clarion VX603AU 2DIN from a friend in Australia.

He does not have the SD card for navigation (SD603AU) and a replacement is extremely expensive.
