I'm a newby to this forum so perhaps I'm asking for the 'open door'.....

I have TomTom XL IQ Routes with 2GB internal memory.
It came with the maps for Europe.

As I'm travelling to the USA and Canada, I wanted to change the maps accordingly and downloaded USA/Canada 930_5563 through this forum. It's compatible with my navcore.

This map is 1,83GB. I can't install it as I'm 108MB short on my device. Already deleted ...

I have a route made up in my sat nav for when I go to Germany. I would not bother with a route just set a destination but I need to make a detour. Having never done this before or seen the function working what does the sat nav do when I reach the detour? Do I touch an arrive button to it can plot the rest of my route. Just thinking ahead here and ...

i'm searching for a benelux map that can work on the tomtom one from my friend which has the 8.041 navcore with bootloader 1.0100. i installed the patched PNDNavigator file as said needed, and instead of previously not seeing the maps, it does see them now but saying it cannot be used(not activated, although fast activate says it is activated). i was trying all kinds of maps as it seems like all maps ...
