I have a new Philips CED1800BT with GPS. Map card is iGO 8, non-legit with Australia map. My problem is I am not getting any sound from the navigation including key tones and other voices. The music from USB and radio works fine. When navigation speaks out or lets out key tone, the playing audio pauses, but no voices from IGo comes out at all. Juste an advice. I've got a 8.417 navcore which works well with a 8.70 Europe South Map, and a 2Gb SD Card.
I want to upgrade to 9.XX maps. Is it better to upgrade to a 9.XX navcore ? I've understood I have no choice : upgrade to 9.X navcore if I want 9.XX maps.

Which navcore 9.X to use ?
