I have a TomTom One 3rd gen (v6 8.01 navcore) and hope to update my USA and Canada maps. I naively thought a 1GB version I found in the maps thread (USA_Canada_1GB_940_5995) would fit since my unit is 1 GB but it turns out to be just slightly (61 MB) too large. Even deleting everything off the TomTom wouldn't clear that much, unfortunately, as only 29 MB is used after I deleted the old map. ...

I am a newbie so please be easy on me.

Can you please point or give a step by step directions and or links to install the current USA Canada maps for my TomTom ONE V6
