Successfully upgraded my old TomTom XL to the latest maps last weekend. Didn't expect it to be such smooth sailing -- FastActivate rules! Special kudos to Popeye and tendriver for the clear overviews. Keep up the good work!

guys can share any gps thats work fine with mallfreemaps..or anygps with MY maps..i used marbella gps 480x272. i really dont know about baud rate or com for my gps..

Could you please help me with guiding through the steps and pin pointing at what I'm doing wrong. Have spend a few night already on downloading and trying to connect the dots, but no success. Have read a lot of treads and discussion on this forum.

I have a GO 630 with `CurrentMap=North_America_2GB` on the internal memory which I haven't used in a while so decided to give it to my dad in ...

I have downloaded the maps usa 1gb 970.7490 from here ,I don't seem to update it as the .meta code is not available ,is there any work around ,
I did try to download the usa 1gb 970.7491 but the second .rar link is offline ,any help would be appreciated .
this file is missing from the above usa map 7970911g.part2.rar can some one upload that again

My sw version supports every map, but which one shoud I choose? Where can I find differences between 970.7466 and 970.7467?
