guys can share any gps thats work fine with mallfreemaps..or anygps with MY maps..i used marbella gps 480x272. i really dont know about baud rate or com for my gps..

I have downloaded the maps usa 1gb 970.7490 from here ,I don't seem to update it as the .meta code is not available ,is there any work around ,
I did try to download the usa 1gb 970.7491 but the second .rar link is offline ,any help would be appreciated .
this file is missing from the above usa map 7970911g.part2.rar can some one upload that again

i have tried loads of navcores ,some for 32meg deices
loads of maps ,can get it to fire up ok after fast activating
but the minute i touch the screen above the menus ,ie to navigate etc it crashes
can browse satellite fixes ,see version info.
but it hangs then resets if i touch screen, as if to go into menus.
can an old one xl use a version 9 navcore ,because version 8 looks ...

wanting to update navcore to take advantage of full feature maps, was looking at something like 8414 but any links files seem to be no longer there, is there an up to date link any where please, its been a while since i did one, also doesn't matter which cari put in getting the moving red x, think it may need boot loader flashed if i remember from a while a go that solved it

I've downloaded the TomTom Central Europe v970-maps. It is the 970.7466.
After installing it on our TomTom, I noticed that all the countries are present, except France. Could this be an download fault (downloaded from this site), an installation fault or has TomTom just forgot to add France to the maps?
