DEM (Digital Elevation Model) files


Digital Elevation Model (DEM) is a digital model or 3D representation of a terrain's surface represents the terrain surface with mountains, valleys and even smaller height variations like hills. DEM enhances the life-like visualisation of reality. Created from terrain elevation data. It helps the driver by confirming him visually the physical terrain, and he can immediately understand the surroundings.

Kind of embarrassed that as an experienced IT guy I can't seem to figure out how to update my GPS' firmware/maps. There is not much identifying info on the hardware or through the OS, so I put the SD card in my laptop and found the following info in various files:

• Delco_QX-BH751T
• iGO Primo 2.4
• Log file which seems to indicate it is using Windows CE

Google didn't give me much resources! How do I ...

My GPS Igo Primo 2.4.9.6.13.405512 asks me to turn much too late, I would like it to give me the alarm earlier.

Hello, I try to download the TomTom map Benelux_980_7971.
It 's said that I should click on the mapname and then I should see a screen with the word "Authorizing". Below it I should see a GOLD KEY & 5 black dots. I should replace the black dots with the password: navitotal.
Whatever i have tried, I never got a screen with the word "Authorizing". a GOLD KEY or 5 black dots.
Please help me, ...

Where can I find a good working navcore for my TomTom XL ?
I have NC9.510 DSA for 32MB Ram which should work with the one and the XL and it works with the XL but I don´t get the sound working so maybe it is not the correct navcore for the XL
I am looking forward for your help
