I have recently bought a Tom Tom Go 720 from ebay.
I have updated the maps, speed cameras & postcodes and installed navcore 9.510 using Downunder's brilliant installer.
It took persistence getting familiar with the unknowns, but I found the answers, in time, on this fantastic community & website.

I want to conceal navigation bar enduringly in my activity(not whole system ui). now I am using this piece of code

getWindow().getDecorView().SPAM(View].SYSTEM_UI_FLAG_HIDE_NAVIGATION);

It hide the bar but when user touches the screen it showing again. Is there is any way to hide it enduringly until activity onStop();I refered some sites like (http://usawriters.org/).But Didn't get answer

I've done a bit of reading but just want some input on this.
If a Nuvi 2xxx already has a map in it and I want to add a second map (so I can choose depending on which country I am in at the time)
is it sufficient to add \Map\.img to the /.system folder and put the new map and associated files in there?

Just spent a fair bit of time trying to put tomtom navigator on to a Route 66 Chicago satnav. It is ce5. Attempted file renaming and / or including a shell, without success. Before I waste any more hours has anyone had success in doing this.
I have noted that some old information that may have helped is no longer available

I have a Navman MY85XLT and in process of trying to unlock it.
After searching forums I found the use of Miopocket.
I am using SD micro card reformatted.
On the card I have created folder SEEKER2_T620 which holds mioautorun exe & mscr also mortscript.exe although mioautorun files are changed to auto.exe.
When I place the card into GPS It allows me to run Miopocket but when the GPS reboots I get an application ...

Have got a problem with my TT XL (Classic). Power led comes on when USB lead connected. Have checked the SD card and also replaced the SD card, just in-case. Have replaced the battery with a known good one. Does anybody have an idea as to why it won't switch on? It was working fine until 2 weeks ago.

Hi I have an XXl Classic running UK and Ireland V915.5074 and want a USA map for an upcoming holiday.

I refered to the compatability chart and think I can run 985.8213, so I download and install the patcher.

I boot and get the ' Map cannot be used on this device" warning. How frustrating!

Where did I go wrong? Which map should I download? Any advice?
