Special v1020 maps


Activation of maps with equivalent metas. If you have a map that has no meta, you may be able to activate it if there is an equivalent meta.

So, in simple terms (Iberia_1020_9272 example):

Download/decompress/copy the map that you want to activate (but for which you don't have the meta).
Delete the relavent .meta file
Copy into the map folder the .meta file from the other map (same country - ...

Sorry for my stupid question but can someone tell me how to install a map without an automatic installer? I had always used maps with automatic installers but now i need a bigger map. I thought to unrar it to my tomtom but no version works. I do need a map of Germany and the Netherlands and i download 1015.9104, 1015.9160, 1015.9108 and 1015.9156. I do have installed the universal navcore 9510 32 ...

If you only ever want to use the UK area of the truck map do you still need to have and install the whole map or can it be edited ?

Despite a lot of reading I can't seem to find any reference to this so I'm guessing that you do need the whole map ?

I have a Garmin nuvi 1410 and it is not recognized by the PC, "the USB device is not recognized".

I wanted to make a CURE with the GarminCure kunix software but it was impossible for the PC to recognize it again.

If your map uses post codes (UK, Netherlands or Singapore), you should have a folder in the root of your device called 'zip' which will contain the post code files. You can create the folder yourself if it is missing.

Download the relevant files for either or all of those 3 maps from the links below, extract the archive(s) into the zip folder overwriting the old ones if necessary.

i have a problem with igo primo 2.4 isreal avarage speedcam voice alert.
the alert comes few meter after the avarage speedcam. i looked in igo to see if a can change the avarage camera warning distance but there is no such option.
please if anyone can help below is my text file.

I always seem to struggle when trying to update the speed cam file, (I'm sure i posted about this but can't find my old thread)

So yeah the new download the maps working well and I notice there's a *.spc file, I've tried opening this in a text editor and it was unreadable. so after having a little look around the net then ...

if not which is the map more recent that van i have with rt5?
