I have a Garmin nuvi 255W satnav unit that was bought recently from an electronic surplus store with the original software installed. When I checked the time displayed, the unit showed that it was 1 hour behind than the current time. I am in the Eastern time zone. Also, the World Clock time for different countries was also off, and the date showed January 30, 2001 a couple of days ago.

I already have the new maps Q2-2020 but my question is how to update the unit, because when I pur the pen drive on it, it only collects info from the unit, and not the update.

Is there a structure/order of the folders/files to make this ...

i need a little help with my tomtom. like i said in subject i have tomtom one canada 310, and i need to update the maps, but last maps with the version of navcore i need he didnt work, so i see a few posts of people in the internet and update it, but now he freeze at the boot.

Change the Archive Time

Not only with 3.93 or 4.01 versions
You can use the newest version of winrar BUT, in Settings of winrar you need to set to "original archive time" > path: winrar/options/settings/compression/create default/time - untick store modification time and in "Archive time" select "Original archive time".

Installed truck map 1055 10406 On my go 940...

Had it working briefly, then it started freezing, switched maps, then back to truck map, but still freezes...

Then i read on here, that if you delete current map data and current location data, it should work...
I have done this numerous times and it still freezes,although I can't find the current location file anywhere, so i can't delete it !
