I am flabbergasted. My nuvi 3790 has North America maps pre-installed which I want to get rid of because I stay in South Africa. However, I can't see the maps on my garmin drive. The properties show that 4 gigs are used out of the 8 gigs, so it is installed there somewhere. However, I cant find the maps! It is not hidden and I checked all the folders, it is nowhere! and the sat nav worked a treat with 850.2873 usa maps on

just curious though, why when U turns seem the norm over there and most roads/hi-ways/freeways have u turn places what seems like every 500m or so yet the tom tom seems very reluctant to direct you around using u turn places

anyone now the reason for this??
