I have a very old TomTom One 3rd edition (Ver705.1481), and I would like to know how to update the map and If I could get the device to say street names. Is there a way to get IQ routes option on this device??

i have a chinese 6 inch GPS running igo primo or igo 8. with dimka skin ( which i prefer) and i was hoping to find a setting which wakes up the unit when external power is connected and put unit in sleep mode when power is dis connected.
currently primo goes into sleep mode as well as igo 8 but igo 8 freezes when you try to wake it up.

I've got a G0930 with the original 8.351 navcore.

I originally upgraded the navcore to 9.150.554646 and it worked fine on the device, but HOME was throwing an error saying that this version of the application isn't allowed on my device and updates were disabled.

I restored my backup to the original device navcore, and installed map 860.3101 with the automated installer.

It works fine on the device and updates are available again, but when ...

I have an XL330S, and have been using a patched Navcore version 8.?? for over a year.

I recently upgraded to the newest Navcore version 9, and it works awesome except for one glitch..

When I hook up to Tomtom Home, I am told that I am not using the correct Navcore version for my device, and it does not let me update or receive map corrections ...

is there any Hong Kong + Macau Map?

Just a general question asked me about SatNavs.

If i planned a route to London, but passing the outskirts and not entering the congestion zone.

If a road was closed on my route near the zone and I asked TT to plan another route to by-pass this road block, would it keep me out of the Congestion Zone or would I have to check this my-self. Whether I use Traffic updates or not.

We have a 76CSx that we use when we cycle - absolutely love it. Mapsource has provided many hours of umm, "education" for us but we have finally sorted it all out - there were some supremely frustrating moments trying to tinker with it to suit our purposes but, as we say, all is good now.

Step to run test for:

* TW maps header already inside maps folder,Just add other maps files into it.

* Change all Maps using Navnet R51_ / MFM but header using TW Maps. For navnet rename header from R51_Q2_SSC.hdr into R51_SSC.hdr

* All Happyfile Default Baudrate is 4800.
