This is a way you can try if your MIO gps port is blocked or frozen:

Because as i have many freeze problem on the GPS port after a sleep mode of the device with garmin xt, igo, or amigo too, or because i have the original software disturbing the one i want to use after a kill(smart_ce.exe).

You know that all the software are differents and have there "original .exe" name as "igo8.exe", ...

Hi, I have a couple Tom Toms the one that I am presently useing is a Go930 (4CH9.000.00) I would like to upgrade this unit and have a couple questions. I'll be damned if I am gonna pay TT $71.00 to upgrade my maps which are now 72 months old. Anyways I am having trouble reading the chart on what file to use? I think my unit TT (930) is at the top far right ...

which model of tomtom can i buy s/h cheap to run truck?
i know its best to have 64mb ram.

i was thinging maybe go 710 would do the job.

I have a quick question,

There are in some cases 2 maps of the same region that have very different sizes, my question is what the difference is between these two?

For example "Europe north" have 2 versions that are around 1.3 gb and 1 that's only 700 mb.
