I've tried to find the answers to these questions, but haven't been able to yet. So... can you all clear up some them?

Do I have to have a map installed on the internal memory or can I just install maps on the SD card?

I've updated maps a couple of times and the old maps are still installed and taking up space. Can I just delete the map folders or are there other files ...

is any chance to download from somewhere the full europe map under 2gb??? the old map...because i buy this tomtom 2 mounths ago and i connect to pc to update the map whitout to save the old map....and after this i can`t use the new map because its to big 2.4gb and i don`t have enought space on internal memory...if anyone now one link where i can dowload the map please let me know....

This is the latest iGO Primo version including updated Q1 2011 Maps and points of interest for Israel. Also includes tmc.

This version is set for the 480x272 Resolution with 2 more options of sys.txt in 320x240 or 800x480 which can be changed instead. The data file supports all 3 resolutions.

Please do not delete the shell.ini file, as it's necesery for the direct operating path, even for those who did not update their shortcut. ...

I have installed 7.45 on my WinCE6 128mb chinese device and I have it running (yahoo!) but my maps will not activate. I have a folder called navigator in the root of StorageCard also a maps folder in the root of StorageCard. I have tried a few different tools to activate like fastactivate and easytools but when it starts it says no maps found ???. The tools are generating .dct files and ...

Hello, I have TomTom ONE XL navigation system after an update all maps got erased, can't find them anywhere. The navigation unit once it is powered on is saying " no maps found" It had Usa and Canada maps version 710.1575. Can anyone let me know where to download these maps please point me in a right direction. Thanks in advance.

I just bought a used TT XL.S IQ routes (Canada 310) , I get a flashing "X" and device is non responsive to tapping.I tried resetting it but nothing happened.
is there another trick to get it going or simply change Navcore and maps ? if so, please advise how to do it .

Hi, I have a Nuvi 3790 with preloaded middle east maps, I recently added a new set of Europe maps (gmapsupp.img, gmap3d.img and gmapdem.img) to the "garmin" folder of a SD card. At the "Map Info" under Nuvi's settings, I get to see my Middle East maps (Main, 3D and DEM) but from the SD card, I only get to see the main Europe map only. I don't see co related tick options for "gmap3d.img ...
