I am looking to update my TomTom 140S for the first time thru this site. I have version 9.053 and I wanted to update to the 880.3862 for North America, but on your update page here

I am confused that there is a

"North_America_2GB_880_3862 with Automatic Installer & Patcher"

and a

"North_America_P_880_3862 with Automatic Installer & Patcher."

What is the difference between the 2GB and the P. I have no memory card slot in this ...

I tried to install Garmin XT 5.52 on my "Storage Card", using the following link "http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?7763-Garmin-XT-5.52-(Garmin-Asus-M10)-for-WINCE-6-(800x480)&highlight=Garmin".

When i get to step 3. Run_CE5.exe ---->for winCE5 in FileManCE nothing happens and my Navman makes bell sounds. It sounds like the program has crashed.

Can you please run through the steps necessary to install Garmin XT 5.52 on my "Storage Card" on a Navman S200.

ive got meself a binatone g430 (faulty) but im trying to back up the city folder (in the maps folder) and GBR.SMF file to the pc,i can copy the mobilenavigatorfolder,gpspara0.bin,gpspara1.bin,gpspara2.bin,gpspara3.bin,the smart folder in maps,EU_800.SMF,EU_SC.SMF,IRL.SMF,IRLLU.SMF,OEU.SMF, but i cant copy the city folder and
GBR.SMF file any ideas pls

also is they a service manual for these cos my other problem with unit is i can get to the navigation menu

Since I have switched to France 880.3865 map, I am unable to have access to the Towns list.
I used before Europe_1GB_South_870_3417 without problem on my TT One XL, Navcore 8.412.

I only have the message : No corresponding city ! (or No corresponding town !)

Is there anything I can do to recover this ?

is there a way ( official or non-official ) to make the program
start with the map immediately instead of the main menu???
because it'a annoying that every time when i start my car i
need to touch Map to take me to it; All i need is the MAP.

Okay i've followed all the instrutions on how to get this onto my tomtom go720.
Firstly i forgot to do a backup and dont have my origional ttgo.bif file. Everytime i turn my tomtom on it just goes to the TomTom GO screen and then to the load screen, then blank and starts all over again. I've taken the SD card out and it still does the same.

Hi; season's greetings to all. I was given one of the above satnavs by a relative who had just bought a new unit. I followed the excellent tutorial by fatboyfun (thanks mate) on installing Tomtom on a Wince 5 unit. It is a 64meg unit with 320 x240 resolution.

Following his instructions, I have installed v7.450 and the Uk & ROI maps v880.3866 and patched them.

I am having a few problems though, which i'm ...

I guys i kinda need some help updating the maps on my Tom Tom Via 110, can anybody explan me how the process is done? is is the same as all other devices? I got navcore 10.501 and map 875.3611.

PS. when i connect this tomtom to my pc, i cant see it on the My COMPUTER, I even had to use a new software called mytomtom.
