good friend, I'm new to this garmin gps, I have a problem, I updated my nuvi 1390 and everything was fine at first, after a few hours the equipment locked up and turned off, now it only turns on until the garmin home screen lasts a moment and it restarts or it is completely paid, from what I have read, the problem is damage to the software (firmware), I would appreciate if you can help ...

The price Garmin/FCA wants for the update is ridiculous in a world with Google Maps. I would still like to update my maps if at all possible though. Has anyone found a workaround for the 730n RHR or have the update files? I believe the current version being sold by Garmin is 2021.

I was offered an old GPS V very cheap. I never had a handheld, so I wonder what to expect? Can I update the maps on it? How good - or bad - is the screen and overall performance? Not a lot of info online on this model.

I appreciate any thoughts or info on it.

Using Mapsource with a lifetime map update I created an .img map of SE United States and installed it on my Garmin unit. The map is found, but does not show streets, etc.
In the past, I have had no problems using this technique. Any suggestions?

I always preferred Navcore 8.351 over the later Navcore 9 versions (ie currently 9.541).

Is there any way of running Navcore 8.351 with a current map on a GO 930 these days?

Hi all,

i'm the owner of a Renautl Mégane 3 2011, i've downloaded the Iberia Map and its Ok, everything is activated, however, when i download the Europe_1080_11144 through TTActivator, i activate it, but when testing in car it shows the message " Error during planning...".
Its activated with Europe-103141.meta.dct.
Any ideias?
