So, i'll ask my questions in a telegraphical style :
- how to download maps and install them on my device ?
- wich type of file must i download ?
- wich software do i have to use to ...

I installed SE_Navcore.9.205.547817_32mb_devices.rar (Widescreen ONLY) on TT GO 930 with the patched NorthAmerica_880.3868 maps.
TT is working fine but the turn by turn direction is in some other language. I need the direction in English.
I did make a folder called "Voices" on the root of the sd card and downloaded and copied TT_140 file from the forum (Voices section) but still the voice is in some other language.

I know you shouldn't ask two questions at once as you'll probably get the answer to the one less important but here goes.

1) In a Nuvi 255w, can I sanitize the Voice directory and get rid of Ancient Aramaic, Middle Kingdom hieroglyphic (modern) etc. to save space and just keep the language I am interested in? I assume that will speed it up and also free up oodles of space.

Hello and starting off I just found this awesome website after a bad experience with my C220 and MIO in general. I bought lifetime updates years ago with my C220 and now updates are not even available.
MIO told me to buy a new device and basically not looking to ever pay them another $.

i got a Tomtom Go 630, navcore 8.351 and map France 880.310, autoactivate run and ok
when started, i can touch the screen on volume (as no itinary, she says, i am arrived) and on the status bar to see reception.
but, when i touch the screen on the map itself to enter in differents menus, the screen freeze and finally reboot alone...
do you have any idea? wrong navcore? TTsystem? Mapsettings. cfg, wrong ...

After my successful upgrade of my ageing 710 with 9026 (with all your excellent help) I have discovered a niggling problem. When it is connected to the mount and the power is on if you shut it down it won't fire up again without a reset.
