I have a new map I want to install.
I did all that was asked.

When I run autoactivate, I can read that the map is installed.
But, when I try to access it, I'm told by the device that it's not activated.

Tomtom home also tell me that I need to enter a code to activate the map.
I ran autoactivate and fast activate many time with ...

I have a Binatone S350 2nd edition which was stuck on the hour glass at bootup, I couldn't find an S350 rom so tried the A350 on it which worked and I have TomTom up and running. However there is now no sound coming from the unit, not even at bootup.
I am hoping that the problem lies with the drivers so has anyone out there got an S350 rom for a Binatone S350 they ...

I have recently acquired 2 tomtoms, an XL IQ routes edition and a Smart. Both units were sticking on the boot logo and not booting properly at all.
I backed up both units - did a low level format on each - let TTH install all available updates then ran clearflash 3 times on each.
Both units boot into the initial configuration screen after this - go through set language, right or left ...

I transferred a map with Mapsource to my garmin nuvi 1490. It was an IMG file converted with MapSetToolKit and transferred to Mapsource that way.

I then transferred it to my gps, but the resulting map didn't have the search function available "no map data"or something like that.

So... since it doesn't work I wanna delete it but I don't know how to do that.

Anyone?

PS. I tried resetting the device to factory settings ...
