hiya people,

ive got iGo primo 2 on an sd card used in my car stereo. it was working fine and now when i try to use the gps function on the stereo i get this screen come up.

im not sure whether its the software thats not working or the GPS connected to the stereo that aint working.

because it says no signal i am assuming its the GPS ...

My Mio C320 is still kicking but for how much longer I dont know. Since I am not a fan of Garmin or Tom Tom (Igo with Dmika is my choice) I am contemplating going with a cheap Chinese 5 or 6" unit.. I figure at under $80, you cant really go wrong. I am seeing Sirf chipsets which I know work well and now I am seeing mediatek as well - haven't heard of ...

If your gps unit use other than com 1 port for a gps port , use the appropriate executable from the russian folder, copy and overwrite the default exe in the program folder

Well i downloaded the version that chas Posted on the Post above, But now what will be the next step? I also just downloaded some north america maps but i don't know if they are the correct ones because there's so many links that... really I have no idea what I'm doing. ...

I downloaded sevral files from navitotal to use with primo 2.0 (feb 2012 version); but I get "inactive content" for several file types. All files are 2012 Q2 version but have different numbers:

fda: OK
Buildings: inactive content
maps: OK
hsp: inactive content
ftr: inactive content - but I do not use truck vehicle which may explain
3d landscape: inactive content
fpa: inactive content
speedcam: OK
dem: OK
hnr: inactive content
nng: OK

I need to change connection mode from activesync to mass storage! Is there any app to do that on GPS device?

I have the above mentioned chinese after-market DVD/SatNav System. I've installed iGo Primo2 (version 9.6.5.211211) on an 8Gb micro-SD card. It was working fine, until I tapped on the 'Switch GPS Off' button at the end of a trip. After doing that I now just get a black screen with the words 'No Signal' showing when I try to start the GPS system again. :wallbash:
