hi there!

i have a valor ddn-868w double-din with 6.3" screen (800x480 i believe) - and it comes with a micro sd card with gogo maps 2011 from engistech

basically i wanted to know if this can be replaced with another gps maps system such as garmin?

i've scoured the internet (well, googled mostly) about engistech and gogo maps - and practically no info available...

can anyone help?

just curious to try out other gps ...

Simple unrare file and copy it to ur mmc put it in ur car builtin gps dvd player give path garmin/rungmxt/garmin and run it in ur chinease car dvd player

I have opened my gps and found number firmware YG-912C-ABFSJ-IM-ID-AS-4LS-SLS-11.0
Can anybody help me to install the firmware with SDcard ?

I have a Maisun unit, running iGo8.3 in a 2008 VW Touareg and I'm having a lot of problems getting consistent and reliable sat lock. The GPS Rx is on left hand front dash so it should be OK since I have another 2008 V8 Touareg with factory Nav that has no problem getting a sat lock despite the fact that we're near 66 degrees North.

My question is will a, for example, Gillson amplified ...

Has anybody managed to get Tomtom or iGo working on these?

I've been successful with Binatone and Navigo satnavs... but this is an unknown brand (or lack of brand).
