Hello everybody. Recently we've bought a Grand Scenic 3 and it has come with a Carminat 8.842 so it's NOT LIVE. As I was reading the forum I saw that people who has Carminat Live cannot install maps, upgrade navcore etc. I've seen that you can install patched maps in Carminat 8.842, but what about upgrading navcore to something like 9.10, is there a way to upgrade it and to install newer maps? Thank you ...

Hello, I have Renault Laguna II 2005. There is a carminat cnc sat nav system. Can I change the original satnav software to tomtom software? I download map update carminat v32.2, then I write in dvd disk, but disk read is very slowly, I need wait 10 or more minutes to map load, maybe anybody can help?

Have Carminat navigation and Communication in a Renault Espace IV (2006).
GPS system gets lost and I get 2 errors on Service Mode:
- GPS Antenna Connection Error 48
- Controller CAN 40
The other errors are for opening and trying another DVD.
The system starts working propperly and after a while gets lost.

Can anyone help me?
What should I do?

Anyone with info and/or idea how to update Reanult MediaNav maps without using navi Extras site ?

150 EUR for only single maps update seems overpriced and the car was bought with relatively "old" maps - 2012.

The Media Nav version is updated to the latest version 4.0.5 from Navi Extras site for free. But only the software was updated.

I have iGo maps, but as I read in other forums the maps are packaged ...

I have a 8842 version with a map France 940-5965 ...

Does any one have the up to date maps for the Carminat Navigation Informee 2 (CNI2) CD's and any update discs for firmware. I have just purchased a Laguna and they didn't have any discs of it.
