News of Navman Device Unlock - Page 2

I want IGO on my Navman LM 5600 and find a howto.

Find the folder called Program files in the flash disk.

Inside this is a folder called Navman which in turn contains another folder called SmartST_CE and an application called AppStartupSec.exe
Delete the contents of SmartST_CE and replace them with the contents of the Igo folder ie content. licence, data zip etc
( In my case I used Igo 8.3.2.79297) ie the Igo folder ...

Please help,i need firmware..files,any help..

I have Navman MY650LMMT (model:N393-5000) which is bricked (only loading screen, no usb conectivity). I suspect somebody erased internal flash disk or unlocking gone wrong).
Does anybody have internal memory backup or idea how to access this device?

I have just been given an old Navman F10, in good shape, empty SD slot. With 2007 data inside.
I would appreciate to bring it alive with a Tomtom WinCE for instance.
Some years ago, I have already done it on a Viamichelin 950, still working fine.

All links about Navman unlock seen around here are dead.
Can anybody help me ?

Hi Guys, I am new for NAVMAN and I have F16 model. I have read that it needs unlocking but apparently most zippyshare links are dead as well as wikispaces. Would you be able to point me in the right direction with unlocking and maps ? Thanks in Advance.

I have acquired an old Navman N188 with old and outdated maps. Can I remove the Navman contents and replace them with another navigation system, free with lifetime updates (Europe)? If so, what would you recommend - I don't need bells and whistles but would appreciate voice directions, speed limits, speed camera notifications.

Am not a techie so would appreciate very simple instructions please!

I have a Navman MY85XLT and in process of trying to unlock it.
After searching forums I found the use of Miopocket.
I am using SD micro card reformatted.
On the card I have created folder SEEKER2_T620 which holds mioautorun exe & mscr also mortscript.exe although mioautorun files are changed to auto.exe.
When I place the card into GPS It allows me to run Miopocket but when the GPS reboots I get an application ...

I've got an old Navman S30. The maps on it are around 8 years old.
Whats the best plan for the unit? I know I can wipe it and install iGo, but I'm wondering if there is some other software to run on it. Its for 70 year old technophobe dad to use, so it just needs to be basic - Enter postcode, go - click home, go etc... He doesn't need speed ...
