I'm logged in to the English forum, OK. Why can't this be done in the German forum?

What's happening? Almost every time I come here I have to log back in again although I always tick the auto-login/remember me etc every time and I don't clear cache etc every time I leave?

I was hoping to be able to download a Garmin map but each time I try its a no go.
