Just add your voice pack (here it's french) and your map.

Has anyone had any experience with the new TomTom Via range of products?

Problems I am experiencing include:

1. Not being able to examine the files in the device using windows explorer , when the device connected to the USB port of the computer.

2. I notice that the "Device Id" now has 12 digits and not 10 digits as in previous models.

Looks like a few challenges!!!

I have a TomTom One XL and have just gone to upgrade from Navcore 7 to Navcore 8.396 by using one from the sticky thread for WORK/TRUCK (DSA).
On the instructions it says

Add the missing "skin" files from the Home DLL folder : all files with "data" in the filename are to be copied to the root of the device.(This is to prevent the errors with the menu or missing/double icons)

I was using 9.134 but then moved my latest maps to an sd card and I used the navcore that appeared to be favoured for the GO920 ie 9.051. This navcore works really well in most aspects and I only have one issue.
