Over the years, our good friend Xtyler92 has created many unlocks. Most of them can be adapted to your device. You just have to ask how. Earlier Mio models cannot be seen by your computer so I'm adding a Mio Transfer hack that should help with that.

I borrowed from my friend a Mio moov 300, it was unlocked and run program from Navman\AppStartupSec.exe on internal memory. Then i want to run another wince software (let's call it "Test" software), so i copied my "Test" software to Navman folder on internal memory and rename it to "AppStartupSec.exe" (i deleted the orginal file AppStartupSec.exe). Now everytime i restart the device, it auto launch my "Test" software and work ...

I have this problem where my Mio C720 stuck on orange logo screen (no USB connection, no communication between device and SD card...) and the WinCE won't boot up. In few last weeks I have tried a lot a stuff to back my mio in live but without success.

Now, I'd like to try JTAG procedure. Can someone help me with this? Where I can download tools, scheme etc. ?

I have been trying various methods of unlocking my Mio S500HF with a view to running both the MioMap2008 software and Igo Primo.
I made a copy of all the original files on the device before doing anything and after a couple of attempts which I wasn't happy with managed to return the system to the original mio software.

I was about to throw out my mio when I came across this website.
I bought and used a Mio Spirit 680 last year in Europe and I brought it back to New Zealand expecting to be able to download a nz map from mio website but it says maps for this type ( 680) are not available.
Has anyone got suggestions as what I can do about it?

It work almost on each Mio MOOV S device by renaming magic folder as you see at the the picture above.
On mine Mio MOOV S 605, the magic folder is SEEKER2_T600_EEU
Just copy that two folder on the root of a card, and with inserted card, restart the device.
