Can someone please give me some instructions on the best way to unlock a Mio Moov 300 and be able to install another navigation software iGO or better with 2014 Australian maps?

I'm trying to help a friend. I don't have the device in my hand to test it.
I've seen a few threads here about this device, but I'm not sure about the file structure on the device. It is not the same as in the unlock solution. So if it's not the same, how would it work?

I posted a request previously re unlocking my mio C520 with miopocket or similar unlock, kindly chas521 responded with advice, but I was unsuccessful with either miopocket or primo2.

primo2 would not show up at all on my unit even though I tried altering things as suggested in various articles I read, and whilst miopocket tried to load it stopped at certain points, not finding files or asking for punctuation marks to continue. ...

This is my i'st time on the site, and I am trying to find an unlock prog for my old Mio C520. It works perfectly but is classed by Mio as obsolete. I have read on various sites that miopocket could give me the answer and as well as giving access to my machine as a pda, allowing me to install alternative up to date maps etc.

So i unlocked my Mio C250 using Asgaard's unlock, installed iGo8, put in new 2013 maps and everything runs just fine.

Next i thought i would give a go on MioPocket and installed it without problems. MioPocket only ran the first time after installation but thats fine cause i dont ...

ok lets start from scratch clarifying a set-up question on the mio moov - first post & new to gps world.

What do I need for installing Igo Primo on a Mio moov 410 (480 * 272)?

1) Visual GPS v115.01
2) Igo iGo-Primo v2.4-9.6.13

Has anyone tried the above and had any issues? Are you aware of any specific settings which need to be modified so that mio works well?
