I've been trying to install Europe_West_960_7078 onto my TomTom One but keep getting 'No maps found'. In fastactivate the map is showing as Completed. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I've done some research about TMC functionality in tomtom navcore, and I'm looking for someone who is better than me with gdb or ida (choice is yours ;). First of all what I have found, almost all tt maps carry info about tmc location tables and encrypted services. The clue resides in mctx.dat which can be found in 3 "flavours":

I've formatted a new 2GB card for my Tom Tom One and installed navcore 7.903
I then downloaded UK and Ireland maps 960.7075 with automatic patcher and installer.
Everything seems to have worked but I cannot activate the maps. The TT Home system recognises the maps on the device but indicates that they need to be activated. When I run option 2 on fastactivate I get the following message

Downloaded the auto installer version by mistake. Is there a way to use this with fast activate or do I have to download basic map?
Is there a disadvantage to using the autoinstaller instead of using fast activate?
Would rather not go through the download process again. Thanks for your help

Today I updated my TomTom, before the update, the map was Europe_TRUCK_935, now it's Europe_TRUCK_960
I also updated the speedcams.
Everything works fine, except that I also want to transfer all the favourites that I had on my previosu map.
I was wondering if it's possible to just copy the favourites from the old map to the new one, how do you do it ?
