I have read the black screen with the calibration sequence that says 91 900 130 874.

I now get a message 'You cannot use this map on this device:' for all of the downloaded maps which used to work OK, now only the original 815 map that came with the GO 520 is still working. My friend game me this gps to fix it and use it. But he said it’s not working right now - it starts but it is indeed stuck at start up cogwheel thingy and wouldn’t move beyond that :(

I may have posted this topic some time ago, the instructions of what I needed to keep and delete was kept but since then I lost the paper.

Some time ago an old mate approached me to help him with updating his TomTom to the latest.

The map he has is very old "Australia v945".

Apart from obtaining the latest Australia v995 map with meta and FastActivate, is there anything else I need to ...
