TomTom & North America,,,

Hi guys, i've been on a trip from MONTREAL to TORONTO this past week....

Although my GO630 did its job, meaning i could get from point A to point B,

it had smal problems finding accurately some POI's, especially FUEL stations,

and at some point, it was off completely when driving me to my HOTEL!!

so anyways, my question is, since im in North America, would GARMiN be a better choice for me?

thx

DJSC Tom Tom Question

So my question was, is there any software to unfreeze a tom tom if the touchscreen wont respond? I saw the flash clear tool and tried that, but my Tom Tom Go 720 doesn't need a flash card (though it does have a slot) and the software didnt seem to fix the unresponsive touich screen of the tom tom. Thanks.

Western & Central Europe map 850.2800 too big for Tomtom One

The latest WCE 850.2800 (2.2GB) map will not fit on my Tomtom One IQ (2GB capacity).

Tomtom home web page states 850.2800 to be the update for WCE 845 2645(1.8GB) and implies that if downloading from Tomtom one would store it all on the PC and only install required "zones" onto the device.

How do I work round this as previously downloaded maps have all fitted on the device and have been keygened on the ...

Problems activating NZ 850 maps with HTC topaz

Dear Friends,

I have this problem and I need your kind help..

I have joined the {NO LINKS/NAMES OF OTHER FORUMS PLEASE!! djc151084}Forum in january 2010 and successfully installed in my HTC topaz (diamond touch II) the maps of Australia (840.2561) and Morocco (840.2573)

In both occasions I used Easy_use_tools, with RunMeforDCT mode, to generate .meta.dct file for unlocking maps.

I tried the same procedure with New Zealand 845.2647...(updating the meta ...

One v2: 8.560 or 9.051

Hi,

I've recently installed navcore 8.560 on my TomTom One v2. Today, out of curiosity, I installed 9.051. I just unpacked the two rars and copied them to the SD card.

Now, 9.051 seems to start just fine, but I do not see the 'eco route' option. As far as I know, that is about the only advantage of the v9 navcore. So, I have two questions:

1. Why am I not seeing the eco ...
