I'm a real newbie to the world of TomTom, I have an integrated unit in my car that runs from an SD card via TomTom Home. What is the difference between FastActivate and AutoActivate? And which is the best option for my system??

Hello I am new on this forum and have the following probem:
I have download via maps link Western Europe 1GB 850.2783
But when i unrar this (pass: navitotal) file is seems to be Westermn Europe 1GB 850.2820 an i get always this error:

My TomTom has 1.0012 bootloader but has navcore 9.056. Does this complicate updating maps? I would like to install the Australia Map 845.

I had tried a couple of times before I saw the warnings about bootloader 1.xxx with no luck so have restored to the below (original) configuration which works fine.

I have a car radio with a usb input. Is it possible to connect my tomtom via the jack socket to the usb on the ice? Any advice would be most welcomed. Thanx.

and im unable to update map share

when i try to use the device through home it tells me im cant use this map

im running nav core 9
and have tried using western europe 850.2801 and 850.2800

Tomtom in australia is great in cities but not as good in country areas for finding roads and road numbers navteq have that hands down ,and seeing we are thinking of doing a trip soon was just wondering ,any help please
My TT is a one XL app 9.051 os 483783 maps are au 845.2662 boot is 5.3026

After installing this player for tomtom I cant connect to home any more.
Could allways use backup but if any has a suggestion to fix this

hi all i have a mates tt one it will not start up i put it on mains charger green charging light comes on, left it charging for 4 hours and still nothing, my question is if the battery is totally knackered the tomtom still wouldn't be able to start on the mains power lead, true or false.

iam thinking of replacing the battery but don't to waste money if its a problem with the ...
