I have just had to have some work done on my tomtom 930, the battery needed replacing but in the process I damaged the ribbon connector block for the LCD screen so had this replaced, but now when the screen is installed the touch part does not repond, so I swapped it into a friends whom has the same model and the screen works fine. Armed with this I got back in touch ...

got a tom tom one 2nd edition to upgrade for a mate

looking for best most uptodate navcore that will suit this device. device has no sound at the mo hoping to correct that with new navcore

I must say first of all that this forum has helped me so much over the last 48 hours since I decided to upgrade my PNA device. I am currently running miopocket 4.0 with TT version 7.910 - can somebody please tell me if I should bother upgrading to a newer version of TT and ifso which one should I upgrade to?

I've bought a TomTom Go 720 device with problems after updating (no GPS signal) was the message of the seller.

Starting the device it keeps restarting after a minute.
I would like to reinstall the device.
What navcore version do you advice?
What procedure do you advise to solve the problems?

Just like the title says, my ASR folder in root is still present, with the support_asr.dat file existing as just a file with 1 in it.

Model is the GO 930
Running DarkMireille v1.0.0-pre6 on a 9.051 navcore

ASR was working fine on the old 850 map, no longer works on the 855 map, even though the features chart says it should. Any ideas?

Anyone know the frequency of release for the truck maps? as it seems that they are a bit hit and miss as when they come out, i.e they don't come out every quarter as the regular maps do. Thanks

for example: Western and Central Europe 855.2884 - Western and Central Europe 2GB 855.2884
The Western and Central Europe 855.2884 unpacked is in size about 2.25 gb

I have a new GO 550 with one years HD subscription, can anything be added to it like voices and other cracked maps. i dont want to change the main settings or put a hacked navcore on it, just cracked maps and voices. Can this be done?
