My Son's TT ONE v3 Traffic updated itself through HOME recently. We were travelling back from London yesterday, along the M4 and the compass no longer appears to make sense.

As a pilot, like I am, he used to have the compass showing on the map indicating the direction of travel and with the heading superimposed. Last night it appeared to be a mirror image of what we would have expected, ie the arrow was ...

Not long bought it and today It got its maiden journey, well after I gave up trying to stick it to the windscreen, is this easy port sucker thing for real? I cannot believe something soooooo not fit for purpose made it into production, it couldn't support itself never mind a Sat Nav attached to it ...

I know that my device is before dino's...

I have downloaded:
SE_Navcore.8.412.1236_32mb_devices
Europe_860_3123 2,25Gb

with and whotout maps, it doesnt boot... i think it's something to do with bootloader,
but cant find any solution.

Please explain in ...

Stupidly tried it myself and got the dreaded error message. Didn't save a backup of my tomtom when it was working so pretty clueless as what to do. Tried using the automatic installer - not sure what version of navcore I have installed. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi , i have being trying to activate a 3391 map of the whole of europe on my device as above, i have a united kindom map installed and activated ok, but even that map wont get speed cameras working with auto activate or speed activate (latest versions). I have tried with a new empty SD card and succcessfully installed navigator, however when i run the activation programs (Doesnt matter which one) the dialogue box ...

My friend has Tomtom XXL IQ Routes and wants to update maps.(Western and central Europe)
The problem is that he has only 1.84 GB free space in internal memory.I could not find any new 870 map that can fit in.
Is there any way that I can delete UK & Ireland (he doesn't need them), or is there any map available that is smaller than 1.84 GB ??

Hi All,

I have a TT ONE New Edition, it calls itself in HOME, and have been updating it through these pages. It now has 8.010 Navcore and UK & Ireland 870.3419. When I connect to HOME I get the following message:

"Error when contacting server: you have an invalid version of the Tom Tom application installed on you Tom Tom device. To use HOME you need to install the correct version."
