Any help here would be most appreciated im stuck in a hotel for next day at least :( need help updating my tomtom 930 maps, navcore etc give me something todo to pass the time if someone could help me locate newest/latest WORKING maps etc would be great.

Hi all, i hope someone can help im completely new to messing with my tomtom but ive managed to install new maps and i updated navcore via tomtom home. All is ok and tomtom is working fine. The only thing im wondering is if i am on the best navcore core as i was expecting to see some changes in the menu. If i can change my navcore to a better one please can someone ...

Thanks to this excellent site and good friendly advice I have updated my ONE XL to 9.XX Navcore and UK 880.XX all patched and work A OK

I have 2 voices (1 premium 1 standard working) both work A OK

I followed one install suggestion (download computer voice file expand into LO... folder and then over-right LO... folder)

Result Kate computer voice appears and can be selected but no sound when I ...

Been off the radar for a while and sold my TTOne v2 sometime ago.. but the time may be coming where I will need a sat nav again soon. Rather stick to TT as I like them

Anyway - recommand me a model place.

Must be black and must be able to run truck software/maps downloaded here?

Any recommandations please :D

I have the ONE 3RD Edition and I downloaded new POI's for height, weight and width restrictions and extracted them to the UK & ROI folder
and then ran Fast Activate but saw no metnion of POI's and the new POI's are not shown on the satnav.

Am I doing something wrong?

Right I have a TomTom ONE 3rd Edition (V3) That lost it's post codes and had a map that was REALLY out of date, trying to fix it I wiped the unit BEFORE backing it up :(

Is there anyway to fix this?

Is map 880.3811 not available yet?

I have an old Go 910 that I am trying to update to the latest North American maps. I got North_America_2GB_880.3810 and used fastactivate.exe I patched the navcore, clicked on maps and patch tomtom dll and nothing gave any errors. Rebooted device and its only showing the three older maps (Canary Islands, Guam, Western and Central Europe).

Any ideas?
