As a trucker i'm faced with height/weight/width limits on daily basis. So far my TT910 has been superb in all i do... apart from the above...

Do i buy a new dedicated Satnav for trucks at over £200 or can i use the software available here at a fraction of the cost.
Also TT have sent me an offer of map upgrades at 75% off... if i upgrade can ...

My friend has asked me if I can put truck on his tomtom go 710, is it possible? I put truck maps v895 on with truck navcore v8.398 on a 8gb sdhc card but nothing happens. the screen without the card is telling me to put a sd card in, then it has a cross thru the card, implying it is wrong.:pray:

when i run fastactivate, my mcafee on access scan pops up and says that the file
tt8_keygen2.exe in an app/data/temp folder is a trojan with application UnRAR.exe in same directory.

Can anyone explain what is going on and how I might fix it?

I am guessing that my machine is infected though Malware bytes does not pick anything up and says it is normal.

my son is working abroad with his tt one v2 but i have a full back up of his device on my computer. if i do a 2gb sd card with patched maps and navcore will it work on his device with the original internal memory i.e. unpatched. i think it probably will, but if it will not you'll save me the price of an expensive stamp.

I'm trying to update the map on my tomtom but fastactivate.exe is giving me the following error:

File TTGO.BIF or TTNAVIGATOR.BIF not found.
