Its been a while since I updated my tomtom software on my satnav unit. I need some help as to what the latest verison I can have on my device. I have a Navman Mio M420 (M400), currently it has on it:

and map version:

United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland 875.3675

What is the latest version on TomTom and the most update map that I can use on my ...

As you are all well aware the new Tomtom models (Via Start Go) are now using lunix system so windows cannot read the root menu anymore to update Maps. Hence this leads me to forming this post. All info or ideas and most of all any budding programmers that need the urge to solve this issue please feel free to join in. For 2 years now no one has solved this issue. Lets get together ...

I recenty bought a new TomTom XL IQ Routes edition, to replace my old faulty unit. I have used tomtom home to fully update everything as far as navcore and mapsharing is concerned.
However, it tells me that new mapupdates are available (at a cost of course) but Ithought that my map was the latest with all the functions. Here's my config:

hi im brand new to the forum and a complete noob to tom-tom is it possible to be able to run navicore on my tom tom xxl and the truck maps i have heard of as i drive a lorry for a job and it would be rather handy :D

Hello. I have a tomtom via 110 which stuck at the boot logo (see pic). Bought it in this condition hoping to update/reload the software through MyTomtom but computer does not see it neither Mytomtom application does. Also have tried the reset/recovery method: also with no success-tomtom does not enter the recovery mode or the black configuration screen, no matter how long I hold the power button pressed for.

Ive tryed and failed to get passed I agree Screen / Connect to computer as i cant touch it or its not responding to touch.

Ive tried Holding reset button for 30 secs.

Going from 9.465 to 8.351

Basic dust removal from screen ( Seems clean and has always been in a case )

I have the following issue:
my GPS has an internal flash to store the navcore & maps.

now this has "died" meaning sometimes it comes back alive and works for couple of monthes then dies again.
to resolve this i want to completely remove the "boot from internal flash" because when i start my GPS now.
it displays the boot image( tomtom ) then tries to start internal flash - fails , you see ...
