I recently acquired a TomTom ONE XL-S and want to update the maps. I ran TT Config and came up with this:

When I first ran TT Home, it told me I had to buy an update (to use the update service, you'll need the latest release of your current version) before I could get ...

I have used Fastactivate numerous times with a 730GO - no problem.

Trying to put a new navcore and map on a friends TT ONE is giving me a headache because I cannot get the device to accept the new SD card with NC/Map no matter how/where I use Fastactivate.

I guess I am missing something basic (and yes, I have looked at the guidance with Fastactivate before Tendriver tells me off!)

So any help ...

I read the forums a bit, but am lost with all the bootloader and navcore talk.....anyways, I did find the TomTom Tool which gave me teh following:

As of now, it's "completely stock" - but TomTom Home 2.8.2.2264 says I need map updates.

So, where do I start?

I installed navcore SE 9026-483454 on a 2GB SD card for a 32MB device.
Everything runs fine.
Except after I close down, I am unable to restart. I can restart after I remove and reinsert the SD card. It looks the device does again an initial setup and runs fine until next close down. Close-down goes real quick and it looks that nothing is saved.

I played with the config files but without any ...

I can't seem to find the info I am looking for.

So I have a TT 720. My friends cracked it a bit so I have text to voice. However, I would like a map update for USA/Canada (if available), traffic and cams or other cool things that may be available.

I have a 4gb SD card for info and have backed up my TT 720.

I ran that TTcurrentconfig and got this:

Hi made huge MESS , on forum i can't find any similar topics. Am asking you for help. I formatted memory on TT Go, that version is with out internal memory, so my tt was plugged to pc via usb, card with map was plugged in tt and finally that device has been formatted (fat32) I don't know where to start digging information from, and there is anyone who has that problem too.
