I have a go 530 and the battery has I think died,Its just over a year old.I read somewhere on this site that when you switch tomtom off it can go into stand by mode ?
How can i check if the unit is going into this mode.
I can leave in on charge for several hours but the battery will only last 10 mins after charge.

Having pretty much a wasted evening loading different versions wiping clean etc :helpsos:

I am trying to download italia maps.

When I go through password it starts to download the ilivid download manager but I can't get the maps.

Do I install the download manager or am I doing something wrong?

I recently received a TomTom XL 350 TM from US, but only US map.

I downloaded Europe_East_850_2800 and uploaded it to my device, but when I start the device it says : Problem with map. You cannot use this map on this device: Europe_East-161.

Is there anyway I can install Europe maps on this device ? And is there a newer version ?

Any help here would be most appreciated im stuck in a hotel for next day at least :( need help updating my tomtom 930 maps, navcore etc give me something todo to pass the time if someone could help me locate newest/latest WORKING maps etc would be great.

Thanks to this excellent site and good friendly advice I have updated my ONE XL to 9.XX Navcore and UK 880.XX all patched and work A OK

I have 2 voices (1 premium 1 standard working) both work A OK

I followed one install suggestion (download computer voice file expand into LO... folder and then over-right LO... folder)

Result Kate computer voice appears and can be selected but no sound when I ...

Been off the radar for a while and sold my TTOne v2 sometime ago.. but the time may be coming where I will need a sat nav again soon. Rather stick to TT as I like them

Anyway - recommand me a model place.

Must be black and must be able to run truck software/maps downloaded here?
