Hello, I hope one of you clever dudes can help me. I have a TomTom one and the postcodes aren't working. I have been persevering by entering street name etc now I'd like to use postcodes as it used to be far easier when I had it before, and it took me the right place more often.

To describe the problem - on entering a postcode it accepts the first 3 digits L21 and ignores ...

And is was wondering if there are still new cards for it like whole europe ?
Do i need to do something special besides patching tt? Like a new navcore etc etc????
with lane assistents etc etc.....

Have downloaded the latest 925 maps for now , ...

I notice on many maps there is no meta file and so the maps shouldn't be downloaded until one becomes available.

How are meta files found/created?

I'm back with some questions about navigation-systems.

This time for my uncles navigation system.


1. He has a VD TECH navigation system.
And a few years ago, i think 4/5/6 years ago i think i have installed an application with some help of navitotal or the old-board with software on it with bunch of navigation apps like:
TOMTOM/MIO/ETC AND LOT OF MORE.

Since a week 1 or 2 he is having proble now ...

I've just moved out to Australia and would like to update the TomTom and change the map to Australia but need some help. What map do I need for this TomTom as I see different versions available, also do I need to upgrade the Navcore?

Anyone know if Pocket GPS Speedcam database is any better than such as SCDB or TomTom although you pay subs.

I have looked across several databases here and elsewhere for Up-todate Speed/Safety/Mobile cam files.

Its surprising how many, if all are out of date. Some say they have vehicles scouring the road network etc looking and locating these camera's, some rely on info supplied by its members to keep their databases up todate.

I have informed TomTom on numerous occasions via their report system of many locations in my area where these camera's are used, ...
