Just installed iGo on my Peaklife GPS and got a couple questions that I hope someone can help me with ...

1. Have installed UK+ROI maps on it and works fine .. if I wanted to add France as plan on going there can I just put France in maps folder and the software will know which to use ? Can you switch maps within the software or is it case of swapping files ...

I have been rooting around in The Primo GJAK 1.08 branding.zip for Primo 2.0, making mods and fixing a few bugs, and have run across something I cannot root out.

Can any one tell me what "POI settings on the map" does? How does one make it work?
I assume it's some sort of split screen/POI list, but I'm at a loss as to how to get it to work.. or what it does?

I'm havin problems getting the unicode fonts to work with iGo Primo 2.0 on Android Jelly Bean (Nexus 7).

So far I've found 2 different unicode font files (sized 14,3 and 23 MB) and tried to put them in data.zip, as well as in /igo/ui_android/fonts or just /igo root folder. I've also deleted the ...

iGo and Primo are both very sensitive to changes in their ZIP files (voices, data, branding, etc).
Unlike 'normal' ZIP files, you typically can NOT just unzip the file, change something, then zip it back up with the same name. iGO will balk at the changes to the zip file (internal verification routines will fail).

Hi All,

My IGO8 suddenly fails to run and is giving me this message:

failed to open file:
igo\480_272\loading.bmp
exiting application

what does it mean?
I tried looking for a solution but so far came up with nothing.
I found a file with that name under inside the file \data.zip\ui_igo8\480_272\.
Any idea why it does that, what has caused the unit (MIO520) to do that
or how to overcome this?
