I have a couple of questions on "sys.txt" in Primo 2.4.

First, what is the purpose of the following, and can i safely delete it:-


compressor=1
ratio=9
gain=9

Second,Do i need to repeat in sys.txt any entry that appears in data.zip/project_config//igo9.ini.
If i do repeat it will the sys.txt entry overide that in the igo9.ini file.

The size of the map of Canada from current version (HERE 2013.Q4) is almost double the size of the previous version (2013.Q3). It is 313Mb instead of 178Mb.
Do we have a Canadian user that can confirm the current map is ok, and whether it has any improvement?

What do I need to change in the SYS.txt to get rid of those big arrows (circled in red)? I don't want to change the standard directional arrows just the BIG ones (the big arrows also bounce forward and back). I have tried changing some arrow setting in the area but still nothing.
Could someone please help me?

Unfortunately, after updating IGO won't load the new POI files.
If I go to the Help>About>Content section and then to locations (POI) they do show up.

My problem is every similar to this thread:

This is how you get rid of that annoying, repetitive speedcam sound in iGO8. Go and open the data.zip , open up the audio folder which has a lot of .wav sounds. Go to !alert5.wav file and delete it. I'd like to update the map for Primo, but the newest 2013 Canada map I found from this site only contains fbl file, but the map folder I got for 2012 has fbl, fda, fsp, and fsa files. Can I only replace the fbl file but keep the other 3 files ? The file names won't match in such case, will my gps work properly?

I am running Primo 2.4 with the "decent_skin_6.5.1_multi_for_P2.4" skin.

Everything works okay until i try to change the cockpit, in the settings menu.

When selected the system freezes and returns with, "failed to load the file-ui_igo9\800_480\ui\cockpit_2.css"
I have looked in the igo9 folder and can find no such file, nor can i find it if i unzip the skin folder and look in the igo9 folder.

Can you tell me what i am doing wrong?
