Hi,

A few days ago Penavis posted a thread regarding 3d buildings for Europe
(http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?3575-Mio-Mireo-Buildings-3D-mostly-Europe).

A small question: In IGO building files have the 3dl or (3dc for Primo) extention, while the files
in this thread have a cpf extention.
These will probably be a mismatch - should the extention be changed?
Is there any daptation required before usage?

I'm trying to help a friend installing Primo on his MioMoov 300 unit.
I've installed it into the internal flash and it works great. The problem is
that the internal flash is limited and only small content volume
can be used (i.e. 2-3 maps).

So the solution is to use an external SD card that will store the content folder
and instruct the Primo to use that content (Chas521 and/or Nabi explained

I'm new here looking for some info please. I have a Mio C710 2006 vintage and cannot get updated maps - apparently Mio do not support these units any longer. I believe ig0 can be used, how do i get this and how do i load it to my unit ?

Hi, I installed recently on my Xperia X10 IGO with the help from this forum and it;s working well. The only part that is bother me is i still can not use the TTS.
Is anything that i can do? any help is really apreciated.
I mention that i have a Curtis GPS (windows) that i installed as well IGO8 and TTS and there everything is ok.

Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon? While stationary; be it stopped at stop signs, traffic lights, or in my driveway, etc. my iGo map & compass "spins" as if it cannot determine my current facing. Once I'm in motion, it straightens out & points to the correct heading (with the occasional random map rotation now & then).
Could it be an antenna issue? Im using a 2Din aftermarket sound deck with a wired antenna.

Making IGO8 (emulator) start in chosen place?

When running IGO8 on my PC with no satellite (for testing, demos etc) it always defaults to a city 1000ks away

All I have been able to find is putting this:


default_latitude="37.8035203"
default_longitude="147.2798787"

(my coordinates)
into sys.txt ot start.ini
Didnt work for me..

Any idea?

It seems Primo has a strange problem: when a route set, when entering a tunnel, Primo crashes and the GPS device restarts.
Especially Chinese WinCE 5.0 and 6.0 devices, with original 480x272 data.zip, with modified 320x240 and 400x240 data.zip, all are suffering. So all data.zip files are involved.

I can not confirm this because I have no Chinese device. Also, when road testing Primo, I did not pass a tunnel yet. I never even taken ...

ok, when using tts there is a time lag at the end of speech before it returns to what ever program (radio etc) it speaks over.
Any ideas how to make tts turn off after speech finished? ie, less time where there is nothing..
