I have a Chinese in dash unit, and I am trying to install iGo on it. On the 8.3 I installed I could not get passed the part where you choose a language, I am not sure if it is because my resolution is not correct. On the Primo version I cannot get it to find my gps. I changed the sys.txt file to port 2 and braud 9600 which works for my route66 maps. ...

FWIW, here's my feeling about the NA Navteq maps. I have a pretty strong feeling that the Navteq mapmakers read these forums. They know that Navteq maps are much better in NA than is TA. There is something that Navteq is doing to keep their maps from being spread and shared. I don't know this to be true - like I said, just a feeling. :(

I'm trying to help someone out with IGO8, but my unit is a non HD unit and his is HD.

Besides the obvious (bold), what else needs to be done to the sys txt to make it HD 800x480? Plus any other files need to be changed?

Hi all,
I have been trying to update the sat nav on my Navsure n400i headunit in my car.

I've tried using iGo Primo, iGo8.3 and a stripped down 2Din version of iGo, with no success with any of them. I'm 99% sure I've set the memory card up correctly and configured my sys.txt and data.zip files correctly as well.

I keep getting an error message as follows:

Loading...
Updating navigation system, please wait.
Deleting ...

How would I get a red light camera added to the list?

Ok i know i'm probably beating a dead horse as I'm apparently the only one who felt that this was something worthwhile but I did end up modifying my c320 so that it does run Primo when i click on the miomap button from the main screen. I simply modified the miomap.scp file to run primo rather than the systeminformation.exe (which was the main screen for Chas's unlock). Again, this is simply the way i ...

I'm trying to configure my C320 so that it'll boot right into Igo Primo rather than have to go through an unlock interface and select it. Does anyone know how i can accomplish this?

Well, just managed to put iGo Primo on my Becker Z101, everything working fine, but now I got another problem "Autodetecting GPS receiver.." tried all kind of port and baud numbers, I could find. But nothing works. If someone could point me to the right direction I would be very grateful.
