I have two map types on my device - Tomtom and Navteq. The tomtom map is around 50% bigger in size.

Is this because it contains more and better information or that the compression algorithms in Navteq are better?

I'm comparing the latest files for both maps.

hi i recently got a replacement 5inch bluetooth ece ect (chinese iphone lookalike) ive installed igo primo2.0 from this forum,how do i update the speedcams???
im employed as a driver and i use my satnav all day everyday,over the past week since using my new unit ive yet to see it warn me of any speedcams i pass everday.

Since 1st january, speedcams alerts are forbidden in France. I think, this will become forbidden in all Europe (or almost).
I would like to know, from developpers, if it's possible to add a panic feature wich disable speedcam alert (by modifying "speedcam_warning entry in sys.txt+reboot, for example).
This feature could be available by a long clic on an existing button (long clic on "Quick menu icon, for example).

Right then I am now really pleased with my double din WinCE 6 unit running Primo 2.0. I have it loading up Primo from the start.

The big down side of the unit is the WinCE interface. Apart from having a go at cracking this is it possible to add into primo a good media player (have MP3's on a SDCARD) and possible even a radio app as well. If so any recommendations and how ...

I'm using YT's Primo2. when approaching a 60mph speedcam the speed shows as 58mph & at a 30mph speedcam it shows 28mph.

This happens both with & without a skin but the road speed is shown correctly at 60mph or 30mph.
I'm using a 320x240 device so i'm not sure if it is maybe the programme file or datazip.

When trying to download iGO following a link I get directed to this file. I then have to download ilivid program which then changes my default search engine on my browser and the program hangs/freezes when trying to download the household_hints file. Is there an easier way or am I being really dumb? No offence taken if it's the latter

ok, so i got igo primo 2 from itunes thinking i could get it to work in my in dash nav(unit came with sygic drive 10 that just lost its activation code)....when i downloaded the igo primo from itunes it is in somw wierd format(.ipa) and my in dash doesnt recognize it....does anyone know how i can get this to work in my indash, i hate to think i wasted $40 on this download for ...

I have recently put igo 8/primo on my sd card on a MyGuide 3218 system. When I start the system I now have the option for GPS, but when I click it I get the error message that the path is wrong. Can anyone tell me the correct path for an sd card and where exactly I should put it - does it go in the MyGuide folder or the sd card, or maybe even ...

Does someone found a solution for Primo 2.0 and Local Search?

I've followed YT's advise regarding going small on my SYS.TXT and can happily report that all is well with only the bare minimum of lines in it. That includes speech using TTS.

The only issue is that when TTS come son it lowers the background sound i.e radio and doesn't higher it again when it stops speaking. Also the volume of TTS is very low.

Can someone point me in the direction of the correct ...
