Recently upgraded to the above version but I seem unable to load my own pic (loading.bmp) in the branding.zip folder.

I took the exact same bmp picture, using WinZip replaced the iGo bmp image with my existing one and it says unable to open 800_480 bmp, program exiting.

Has something changed in this version from the previous one(s) or from my initial version? TIA

I unpacked Chas' iGo to get an idea and perhaps be able to install this prior to the car being available. There are notable changes between my 8.3 version and this one. I just want to ask some basic questions concerning these differences.

1) I'm assuming the unpacking (UnRarX) places all files in their respective directories. The root directory is now very different.

2) In sys.txt, I assume whatever is personalized such as 3dcars etc. ...

Would I be correct in assuming that to get the truck bit to work I have to download both the ftr files and the map files and place them into the same map folder on the sd card?
Also I am using Primo 1.2 (WinCE 6 with Igo Myway Primo 9.2.0.191) will this map be compatible?

I did read the sticky from Chas521, but think my problem is a little different.

I'm running IGO8.3.5 and when I try to find any type of POI I'm getting

Failed to open file: writable.bmp
existing application.

I've been running this program for weeks now but this is the first time I've looked for a POI.

Suggestions?
