Hi everyone,
I'm new on using GPS, but i like to make things working :) I have an old Viamichelin but as you know, maps are not available anymore... So i try to put IGO on it, but i can't find IGO 1.2 like it's said on others subject from this forum, links are dead...

Could you help me please ? Or maybe IGO PRIMO 2.0 would work ?

Hi All,

My IGO8 suddenly fails to run and is giving me this message:

failed to open file:
igo\480_272\loading.bmp
exiting application

what does it mean?
I tried looking for a solution but so far came up with nothing.
I found a file with that name under inside the file \data.zip\ui_igo8\480_272\.
Any idea why it does that, what has caused the unit (MIO520) to do that
or how to overcome this?

No idea. Notepad does not really use a character set as a Word Processor might, but uses whatever is installed as the Keyboard. Other editors such as Notepad+, Notepad2, etc will let you change the specific Encoding to various languages, but other than that, I don't know. Firstly, once agaion, a big thank you to everyone that contributes to posting newer vesion of Primo 2. Here are my observations to date:

My base configuration is based upon Yurbuh Tuggly's post iGo Primo 2.0 Build 9.6.5.211211 (Dec 07 2011)-Torrent . It works great and I have been using this for several months. I have added UK maps and modified it for the UK i.e. MPH etc.

I develop my routes via MS Streets & Trips, convert them to .KML via GPSBabel, then download them via a VB App I wrote. Is there a way to skip the route summary screen after choosing a destination?I would like to press ,say,the HOME icon and go straight to navigation without having to Press the green arrow button on the next screen.Can anyone help please?

When I boot up I get a message saying
"Naviextras warning message"

How do I get poi,s into a format that I can use on primo 2.
I usually get my poi,s from pocket gps, and you can choose what format you want the file in,but I cant find the.poi needed for primo.
